The InvestorBroadway Investing seeks only accredited* investors who meet specific earnings guidelines. I also take care to ensure that each investor is a good fit because I hope to establish a long term relationship spanning several years and many shows. Producing a show can be a complicated, delicate business and I like to know that confidence and trust flows in both directions. Before you invest in a show, you will receive a great deal of confidential information about the show, including the projected budget, the weekly running expenses, breakeven charts and schedules that anticipate when the show may recoup its investment under different scenarios. Broadway Investing, of course, will be available to help you understand these documents. If you decide you are interested, the next step is to review and sign a formal offering agreement. Once you have invested, you are officially on the Broadway Investing team for that production. To celebrate our relationship, you will be invited to the show’s opening night and the exclusive after-party where you will be able to meet the cast and creative team and mingle with other producers. Throughout the production, Broadway Investing will provide you with regular updates on how the show is progressing and the show’s financial reports. And, of course, profits from the show will be distributed to the investors. As a Broadway Investing team member, you will always be kept “in the loop” about the show. You will also receive inside information and advance notification about other opportunities that Broadway Investing may be considering. Broadway Investing will maintain communication with you via e-mail or phone, and will of course be available to meet with you in person when you are in New York City. |
