Our Philosophy

Broadway Investing will primarily produce shows on Broadway. We may also consider opportunities across the country, such as national tours, as they arise. Our primary interest is in musicals, both because of the producer’s musical theater background and because the commercial potential of musicals is often greater. This will not, however, preclude Broadway Investing from considering straight plays.

While Broadway Investing’s primary responsibility is to return a profit to its investors, we also feel a strong responsibility to be stewards of quality American theater. Our goal is to pick shows that leave each theatergoer with something special -- whether a new way of looking at the world, a magical moment that transports you from your everyday routine, or an amazing score you can’t stop humming.

“Spring Awakening” is, in our opinion, an example of a new creative work that makes the audience consider important issues while also being mesmerized by amazing music, lighting and cast. We are excited to have helped produced this extraordinary show. "Hair" is now rocking Broadway with its message of peace, love and freedom—as timely as it was 40 years ago.

Our goal is to make you a great return on your investment. But we also want you to be proud of the show that you have helped to produce on Broadway — a show that thousands of theatergoers will see and enjoy.
